Sevilla Wedding Photoshoot
Sometimes I do also Wedding Photoshoots on great locations.
Here are pictures from a very nice Wedding Photoshoot on a very unique location in the area of Sevilla.
Restored 15th century Carthusian Monastery, open to the public, also for wedding /events venues, set in natural park 1 hour from Sevilla.
The Monastery of La Cartuja de Cazalla is a private property and also a National Monument considered a Cultural Interest Site. It was founded in 1416 by the Jeronimo monks belonging to the San Isidro del Campo Monastery in Santiponce, Seville. They remained 50 years occupying one small part (cloister and 1 church) and then the Carthusians took over in 1466, building and expanding the site into a larger complex, remaining here until the Mendizabal Expulsion of the monks in 1836. After that for 140 years, it was left to decay in abandonment until it was bought by an Englishman Alexander Harrington in 1973. Staying in private property ever since.
Nowadays, many activities take place : cultural visits, wedding venues, social and cultural events, school visits, workshops, concerts and shows (theatre, poetry, etc).
Equipment:
Nikon D800E, Elinchrome Ranger, Elinchrome Beauty Dish and Octabox, 3x Nikon SB900, a lot of fun
